Pennan

My wife’s twin brother and his wife arrived to stay for the night.
In the afternoon, we visited Pennan, a charming village twenty minutes drive from where we stay.
We walked along the beach front and sat and enjoyed the view.
On the way back, we bumped into friends who have a holiday home there and they invited us for a glass of wine which was very pleasant. I didn’t partake as I was the driver!
A stroll to the hardly used harbour and back home for more wine, lovely food and a chat.
A most enjoyable day and the weather stayed kind for us.
Pennan is very well known for the red telephone box that was used in Local Hero. I wonder if you can spot it in the main photo!
