TINY TUESDAY - WRONG THEME - BUT ALMOST RIGHT!

I can tell how tired I am because when I looked at the theme for today’s TT challenge and saw “Bark” - I went out and took many shots of the bark of our Braeburn apple tree but when I came back in, realised that the theme was actually “Wood” - but I haven’t got the energy to go back out and take more shots, so this will have to do! It is bark but it is woody so hope I will be forgiven!  

I must confess I have never looked this closely at the bark on this particular tree - and it is quite fascinating.

Mr. HCB was up very early as usual, but I slept on.  However, we are both hoping after having hot showers that achey backs and limbs will soon be rejuvenated!  No doubt there are many from Church who are suffering in the same way today!

Many, many thanks for all your kind comments on yesterday’s Blip about our Church Fun Day - we both “nodded off” in our chairs last evening, making us realise we are not as young as we thought we were.

I will get round to commenting very soon, but we have visitors this afternoon and I have a meeting this evening - the one I went to last week when it should have been this week and in between those two happenings, I have to cook our meal!

Mr. HCB, meanwhile, is pottering around in the garden, picking yet more beans, spinach, raspberries, tomatoes and cucumbers - more bounty to give away - I can’t possibly cook it all!
