Laying more eggs

The decorator arrived this morning and has spent the day doing repairs to the walls and skirtings with more to do tomorrow, and then the painting will commence.  JJ will hope they complete his office before the weekend, but I haven't told him they won't be here on Friday.

This morning I cleaned all the outside chairs as they were very dirty as a result of the muck that comes off the lime trees (insect poo and sugars).  I've also had the camera out as usual and managed to catch this monkey butterfly laying eggs on some newly emerged leaves.  I've added an extra of a common wasp doing the breast stroke.  It seemed to be perfectly happy in the birdbath and eventually worked its way to the edge and climbed out.  Mind you it does look a bit green about the gills.
