Early Riser

I turned on the back porch light this morning and let the dogs out to do their business. When the dogs came back in, this guest landed on the patio door window.

I tried taking a picture of this moth with the inside lights off but couldn't get a good exposure. So I turned on the ceiling light and got close enough to the window to avoid a reflection. Had to crank the ISO quite a bit but surprisingly there is little noise...

I have a busy day today and will most likely not have time for commenting this evening. For those of you in the US heatwave, stay cool today. Temps near 100 (37C) this afternoon!
