Close Enough?

It is terribly hot out again today and the little critters (what few I could find) were moving pretty slowly. This bee was hanging out facing west which was great for minimizing shadows.

I got as close as the macro would allow and got two pretty good shots. I chose this shot because you can really see the detail of it's proboscises (equivalent to a tongue).
