Alps Adventure Day 1

We thought that doing a fly ride and hiring a bike would be more relaxing than hoofing it down to Portsmouth and 1 or 2 days on a ferry.

Hmmm....turns out that transporting all the gear and getting to grips with an unfamiliar bike presents its own challenges.

Still, we had an unexpected scenic and twisty evening ride to run in a new tyre.

Shattered now - and we haven't even started the actual tour - going to be a busy week!
