Keeping a lookout!

With the high temperature going up to 92F (about 33C), we went out straight after breakfast to fit some exercise in before it got too hot. We returned to the bike trail, starting from Kings Mills, for 11 miles return for me. I managed to increase my average speed slightly, so I was satisfied with that, given the temperature. The river is very low at present, since we’ve scarcely had any rain for at least a couple of months. In the afternoon I was busy doing housework and ironing. I took my afternoon cup of tea out onto the patio, and took my camera out with me. We’re not getting as many birds to the feeders as usual - I guess they’ve got enough in nature with nuts and berries at present. So this little squirrel came to my blip rescue,
