Magic in the Morning

A grubby gumball machine? a crystal ball? aquarium? globe? I was sure it held the key to the future as the glass began to glow when the fog lifted. Not even close. It’s a tip jar for the guys who rent motorboats from the wharf. I guess if you get back without being eaten by a shark they expect a reward.
