Hawaiian Day

Katie wasn't going to go to nursery today but plans changed and it turned out she is. Which would have been fine but when this was decided at 6.30, it dawned on me that today is Hawaiian Day at nursery. So there then began a "quick, what can we do to make a costume" mission. I managed to knock together my first ever skirt for her. It's a very basic circle skirt, but she's pleased with it. I made her a garland using a wrap-braiding technique and we even managed to make a sarong for Monkey. Not a bad result by 8am!
