Stand by Me

I wouldn't normally put portraits together like this, but they were so much two halves of the same event that I had to.  You've seen the old lady before (as an extra to my 21st July pianist).  Today she was in the High Street, deeply involved in conducting this young singer performing - of course - Stand by Me.  He had a great voice; the crowd was enthusiastic and she, dear duck, was having the time of her life conducting him.  In the end he gave her a big huge to a huge roar from the bystanders.
