Still flowering

Many thanks for all the stars and hearts for yesterday's butterfly, which has propelled me close to the top of the populars.

The decorator arrives at 8 a.m. which is half an hour before my natural waking time, so it's always a long day, but progress is being made, in spite of the fact his side-kick is elsewhere finishing off another job.

A robin and wren have been serenading us for most of the day, which is pleasant, alhough I would rather not hear a song about autumn just yet.  They were fairly co-operative as regards photographing them.  The wren still needs its tail replacing although it doesn't show up in the extra.  

Invasive plants dug up and a bit of lawn edging done.

I was quite pleased with the tarmac background setting off the lavender nicely.
