I had a reconfigured and much-customised desktop in a Packard Bell case in the early 2000s but didn't think they still existed as a distinct brand, so was surprised to see such a laptop on the in-laws' computer desk. Even if it does come from The Past it's a lot cleaner and faster than anything I've encountered there before and also has the hitherto unknown honour of being set to the optimal display resolution and the correct aspect ratio.
