This happened to be the only time I got my camera out all day. It was full of various online meetings and things to do. Working through the evening, I dipped in and out of the Dan Evans v Karen Khachanov first-round game from the US Open, switching rooms to watch some fantastic tie-breaks. It didn't look good when Dan lost the fourth set and I only checked in again to see it was 0-4 and 0-40 in the fifth. No one comes back from there. I turned off the TV and settled down to some reading. I couldn't believe it when I saw next morning that he won 6-4 in that final set. I was thrilled on the one hand and really bummed to have missed what must be greatest comeback of all time. At five and a half hours it was the longest match in US Open history. At least I saw some of it. Tennis is an amazing sport.
