Grey Heron
It was the same today as it was yesterday. There were no heron around as I entered the park. I walked round to the clearing and there was nothing, at the furthest away clearing Hyde was standing on a branch near the middle of the loch. She eventually flew to the edge of the loch had a feed then flew back. I walked back to the first clearing and the little female (pictured) was waiting so I gave her a good feed once she had finished she flew back to the centre of the loch. The coots and moorhen were less intimidated, there were about 5 coots and 3 moorhen. The crows difficult to count all got biscuits.
There has definitely something that has spooked the heron and I wonder if some have moved on.
