After Glow

Dusk lasts shorter than I am used to from Holland.

Saw this when visiting my Koumbara, who will leave next week for 4 months to help her eldest daughter and two young children as they will move temporarily from Chios where they live happily their family life, but mum (my Koumbara 's daughter) found a job as a teacher... and as often that's elsewhere than where she/ one lives! In order to obtain such public position close to home, one must fulfil such position first in more remote places, and for islanders that can be on another island, as is her case. Her man can't follow her; so they will travel during holidays and she and her children return home on Chios when she gets her teaching job at Chios at last...  None of us knows if this situation will last 1 year, or 2?!!
