Another Day

By BlackTulip

A daily visitor

An early start again with the decorators arriving at 8 a.m.  I had already decided that I'd be brave and do a supermarket shop instead of getting it delivered.

Well that was a mistake, but only because I bumped into my friend up the road and we had to have a natter.  (I did persuade her to move away from the chilled food counters because I wasn't wearing a coat.)  We've arranged to go out tomorrow morning if she can get out of her drive with the removals people next door.  If she can't, she'll walk down to me and I'll drive.

Next I bumped into one of our old neighbours from Oakley where we both lived.  They moved, we moved and we lost touch.  Another long natter, this time in the wine section and she's going to come over one afternoon next week.

Then I spotted another acquaintance who was a teacher at what was the middle school and is very friendly with my friend up the road.  She was there with her daughter and small children.

Finally escaping, I was stopped by one of our camera club members.  We keep meaning to go out photographing things together but never quite get round to it.

I am very conscious that I'm beginning to sound like Joyce in Richard Osman's books, but never mind.

Out tonight with a couple of chaps from camera club who both use the OM-1 and want to inspect the 90mm lens.  I might tempt them with the 12-200mm as well.

The treecreeper has been a very regular visitor and I was fortunate to be in the garden when it was darting about.

Sorry if I've worn you out.
