A sunny day with
temperatures rising - it will
extend our summer

I left the house at 6:30 heading off to Tranquille. I took the road below my hill with some hopes to find big horn sheep, but none showed up. I drove on to Tranquille Farm to have a look at the osprey.
I got a panoramic shot of my mountains to the east just as the sun was coming over the hills. I found only one osprey this morning. It swiveled its head about as though searching the sky for something. I got one shot of it from the east side, then drove ahead to get the second shot from the west side as the sun caught its feathers.
I pulled up to a spot where I could see into the waterways below the farm. The heron I'd found last time was back on the same perch. There must be lots to eat in the waterways.
I got a panoramic view of Tranquille Farm and the wetlands pond as I headed for home. I had waited until the sun covered it.
I heard on the radio that today was the opening of the new Fulton Field Park by the airport. The metal sculpture of the Snowbird airplane will be dedicated to Captain Jenn Casey today. Military officials arrived in Kamloops yesterday for the ceremony. ( blip for Cpt. Casey)
I'm home for the day with a few errands to run and some more office work. I would like to coast quietly into our long weekend.
***Fulton Field Park - opens officially today.
