I'm getting my ducks
in a row - and that is no
easy task for me

I left the house at 6:30 heading for MacArthur Island Park. We have a cloudy day before us and it will be the last of 'fall' weather as we approach the long weekend temperatures will rise once again. This cool patch we've just come through gave us snow on the upper levels highway.

The mallard ducks seem to be loving the slough. The water level has declined and the slough looks rather swampy.

I walked across the foot bridge to get a shot of my mountains and a look into the slough.

I drove over to the Xeriscape Garden on the east side of the park. The flowers are pretty much done for the season. There are just the black-eyed susans hanging on.

The clean up of tree debris following last week's storm continues. I see some areas where large branches need to be cleared.

Truly, I am getting my ducks in a row. Today, I'm trying to sort the paperwork that has accumulated on my dining table. I have a new employee beginning next week so I'm hoping to hand over things in good order for her.

So, I am in for the day and am hoping it will be a quiet one without interruptions.
