Impromptu en -plenair with the MAC

A second sunrise Bob with M to start the day - note to self - double check the time to leave. I managed to panic M by picking her up 30 mins early. Fortunately we were able to make light of it, relax as we watched the beautiful sunrise, and challenge ourselves to a swim as far as a Po buoy. A beautiful calm, so not sure that it could have been more perfect.

Then a brunch at the Barge in Battlesbridge with my friends from Willy-D. Bill and Raj have not changed a bit! It was heartwarming to hear the lengths that Bill went to on the behalf of his student applicants for Cambridge, as well as for my career, behind the scenes. Typical of him to do this discretely. Raj has started a new role for the private sector, creating resources - for higher pay, flexible hours, a share scheme as well as bonus.  Hope that she is successful.
We all shared lock-down experiences, school gossip and put the world to rights. It did us all so much good - we made plans to get in touch with Jon and meet up again at Easter.

Then an afternoon meet with MAC in the Prom for some impromptu en-plenair.  I enjoyed painting the Dog-walkers cafe, and barges. It was too hot to move from the shade, but we all enjoyed chatting and making plans for the AGM and new term.

Then a meet up with Gig Rowers in the park for weights. No one else there, so I took time to go for a cycle ride and to enjoy the amazing sunset! Note to self - take phone for Gig activities.
