Happy boy

Realised this morning that one of the two fridge door drawers was at an odd angle. Turned out the plastic has snapped so Mr PHL made a replacement catch from bits and pieces which worked quick well once glued into place. I brought two cool boxes with me so was able to put the milk into one of them for the journey up to Dunnet.

Stopped at the supermarket to pick up batteries as the scales weren’t working to weigh out Phin’s kibble and somehow other items ended up in my basket, including a wetsuit for Mr PHK which was on offer for the princely sum of £11. Just as well we stopped as I’d forgotten to close the roof vents!

A pleasant drive up the A9 saw us arrive on site just after 2.30. The campsite is right on the beach and Phin loved stretching his legs whilst Mr PHL got the caravan set up. It was quite blocky setting up the awning but we managed and were pretty much organised when our friends arrived to pitch up next door.

A very pleasant evening which started with a glass of two of Pimms and ended with an earlyish night at 10pm. Linda cooked rather tasty fajitas which she served with salad leaves and kohlrabi from their garden.
