After all the rain we have had I wanted to see how that rain had affected this Eskdale Waterfall.  It must be a year since I was last there when water was falling, but nowhere near as much as this.  After Storm Desmond this area was 'unsafe' with trees blown over and making the usual river route difficult.  Hence a viewing platform was built part of which extends over the gorge.  This photo was taken from that platform.
A small platform and a small world.  I chatted to  Australians from Sydney, who had recently been to the same town in northern Western Australia as Adam had worked.  They asked why I took photos so Blip was mentioned and the fact that I'm daily 'talking' to friends in A and NZ- keeps me occupied.
A hazy day in the Lakes, which brighten later.  The Ravenglass and Eskdale was busy. (For my worldwide friends: this is a miniature railway constructed to transport minerals to the mainline and now a tourist attraction.  A more detailed account can be found in Google.)
This now a back Blip as I thought I had Blipped.  I must have been affected by those dizzy heights!
