Hoy High Lighthouse

Came back from dreich and chillyish Hoy. Don't be fooled; this lighthouse is on the Island of Graemsay. Another v grey day - we're still waiting on the weather.

However on the brighter side Bob and Maggie arrived safely from Forres.

Bob exceeded himself and gave me: a bottle of 12 year old Balvenie; a bar of carbolic soap and a copy of 'The Socialite's Socialite' by Lulu MacDuff. I'd searched for this for ages ; it was published in 1928 by Grassick and Wood. he found a decent conditioned copy in a Cockburn Street Bookshop (Edinburgh) 6 months ago.
