Life goes on

No relaxed day for me today , not up to early  but after breakfast I went to my Mums flat  and started to do some clearing up still some things to be sorted out by my Sister including clothes and other things.
My task today was to take up the old carpets as the council want hem removing before we hand the keys back , so 2 carpets ripped up and cut up to make it easier to take to the tip and then 2 old wardrobes to dismantle and break up so that they would also fit in the car to take to the tip / recycling centre . once the car was loaded up see extra I then travelled to the tip upon getting close to the tip I discovered a queue to enter the tip , about 20 minutes later I was inside the tip still in  2 lines of traffic which then merged into 1 to then park up near all the skips  to empty the car . The carpets had to go in one skip and the wood from the wardrobes into another , I also had our 2 old sky boxes that had to go into an electrical recycling skip.
All sorted home for a rather late  well deserved lunch and sit down.

After a bit of chilling I went to pick up a few bits from Tesco and some flowers to take to the cemetery when I went   to  take my tree shot for the month . Been nice and sunny I did spend some time sat on the grass chilling  before heading home.

A relaxed rest of the afternoon watching some cricket England against Sri Lanka  and this evening we will watch some Super League rugby
