Went to Bassenthwaite this morning.  I guessed the footpath would be under water after all the rain over the last few days, so after the first short walk by the lake we went to Powter How and walked through the woods to another section of the lake so lucky Misty had two paddles.  Even though I was wearing wellies it was too deep to walk along all of the footpath.  Lots of wading was done.  Misty x 4 in extras.
