Got the Blues for You

Two years and a bit ago I traded my VW campervan and got a posh secondhand SUV. It's been lovely I've enjoyed it but ... I've missed that van! I've been doing a lot of daydreaming research to see what I could afford and found that most of the things I looked at I couldn't afford. I think my Tiguan has depreciated more in two years than my campervan did in 9 years. 

Anyway I found a van that wasn't too old that I thought I could afford so we went up to to see it today. We had to drive up the M5 and of course today is the day (and probably tomorrow too) that everybody is returning back home at the end of the school holidays. It was slow going and when we got there it didn't help that I'd got a letter wrong in the second part of the post code so we had an interesting tour of the Somerset Levels before we got there.

After viewing the van, it's a very different layout to my previous ones (which was what attracted me to it) and when it came to doing the deal it worked out pretty much as the target I'd set for myself. I'm looking forward to getting it but it won't be for three weeks.

I think I've had a pretty good week, one way and another. I haven't done much commenting, I'm afraid but I'll get back to my usual poor level next week.

Edit: Saturday Morning. I had a disturbed night thinking about the van and remembering the reasons I sold the last one. This morning I phoned the nice man and cancelled my order.
