When Life Hands You Melons, Make Melonade

A beautiful day, mostly sunny all day, warm too.  Cloudy this evening.  Calm with a breeze tonight. 

Up at 5am, early shift in the airport.  A day working on the check-in desk.  It was a fairly quiet day of passengers, all flights on time.  Mowed the lawn this evening, walkies with Sammy.  Kitty is desperate to make friends with Sammy now, Sammy's still not sure.  Early to bed again.  

I was delighted when Greg Hemphill came to my check-in desk this afternoon, him and his wife, Julie, have been up visiting Shetland.  A brilliant Scottish comedian, loved him in Chewin the Fat, and the brilliant sitcom, Still Game, where he played Victor McDade.  I'm sure he'll be sick of all the photos he's featured in this past week, but he was happy for another one before heading off.  Me and Greg, Sumburgh Airport.
