Beautiful
An early start and, partly because of heavy traffic across town, had a slightly frantic journey to Pitlochry to arrive at the theatre with a couple of minutes to spare for my interview.
Thanks to CR for the heads up I’d read some useful things and enjoyed the chat with them, then had a good tour backstage and saw the different performance spaces. One was set up for this afternoon’s matinee, a musical about Carole King, so we decided to buy tickets for it. Lovely sunny day but a little chilly and I’d forgotten to bring a jacket so I’m not sure I’d have been warm enough for a wander around the town or woods nearby instead!
We drove up to @Winsford’s house and had a lovely home made soup and cheese scone lunch with her and T.
Back at the theatre the place was packed and the matinee crowd made us feel quite young! The cast was very strong and the lead in particular very talented, so we enjoyed our afternoon. Shame the man in front of us hadn’t turned his phone off and didn’t know how to do it when it rang several times…felt like grabbing it from him to do it for him!
Slightly chaotic parking arrangements but a straightforward drive home. Chatted to T earlier and then to A during the evening, and we ate a spicy stir fry whilst watching Emily in Paris.
