Steps to nowhere

Our short stay in Kerry over, we packed up and set off back towards Wexford.  I'd suggested a stop at Blarney Castle - good tourist destination.  Rather pricy to get in, but there was lots to do.  

When R climbed these steps, we were under the impression they were the wishing steps.  They led nowhere, and a little further on we came to the actual wishing steps.

The queue to kiss the Blarney stone was too long even for R, but the gardens were rather lovely.

Close to home, we stopped in New Ross to get a takeaway pizza, and had a quiet evening.
