Hot Stuff!

Chedhams Yard had a wheel tyring demo today where they explain how the parts of a wooden cart wheel are assembled and the steel tyre fitted. It went really well, the audience could get close enough to feel the heat and we probably all smell of smoke now. 

I was invited to go and get a set of photographs for them to use in their publicity material - you can see the others in this Flikr Folder. I've tried to set them out as a 'story board'

Quite possibly something they will repeat in the future -  a good photo opportunity - so long as you don't mind wood smoke :-)
