Past its best

The heather, that is, possibly Mr Rat but not the Scots Pine.
A beautiful morning with a very autumnal feel so, as we were feeling some more improvement we went for a walk on the lower slopes of the Sidlaws. A bit further and with some gentle climbs, and hardly anyone around for most of it.
On the way out we passed the sign in the extras, and several other waymarker posts with similar offerings at their bases. There was no change on our way back, they can't all have been out on long walks and intending to pick them up on their way back, there weren't enough cars in the car park.
That was enough activity for the day (apart from the ironing) so a good excuse to sit in the sun with my book and my knitting.
A bit of admin this evening - along with the said ironing.
