       "for men may come and men may go, but I go on forever".  The Alstroemeria seems to have a LOT in common with the famous Brook which my warped mind turned into:-
       "I come from haunt of Coot and Hern, I make a sudden Sarah and sparkle out among the fern and quarrel down the valley."

       I could have sworn it came into flower quite early - BUT - if so I didn't record it; I can find nothing much sooner than1st Aug.  BUT  have blipped them into November, blipped on the 9th in full flower.
       I'm not sure "you" can see it in photo but in shot There's a cluster flowered, died and gone.; there's a cluster in full flower and one in relatively tight Bud, at lower left.
