Cullen beach

Went to visit my brother and my niece at the Seatown cottage. A fine warm sunny morning; no one else on the beach at 10.00 am, before high tide. A long shallow beach with a clean sandy base off the seawall and clear water; I disturbed some seagulls .. 
Then had the luxury of a warm outside shower. Walked along to the Golf club later, then along to the stream where we turned down onto the sand. Extra of the golf course. Saw a couple of pied wagtails. 

There's been a lot of shifting of sand in the last year or two. Many more people about by then. Talked to various local people who are my brother's friends. Walked up to the Co-op in search of a newspaper .. no FT. Did see a bridal couple coming down the main street, with her crinoline being buffeted in the wind. 

Back across country by Cornhill and the back road into Aberchirder.
