First day of Spring

We flew out of Canberra shortly after dawn on what is, in Australia, considered to be the first day of spring. The photo reflects my bleary-eyed out-of-focus view of the world at that time of day.

 The 1st of September is also Wattle Day here and my exta marks the occasion with a photo of golden Wattle (Acacia) flowers contrasting with purple Hardenbergia ~ photographed yesterday at the Botanic Gardens in Canberra..
