Yew Berries

There is a very old yew tree just outside the veggie garden in Pollok. There a few bright red berries on some of the higher branches and using my walking pole I was able to pull a branch down close enough to take a photo. There are a few other yew trees but I have never seen any berries on the branches.

A good service at church this morning and the icing on the cake (literally) was after the service when we sang Happy Birthday to Marina who will be 90 this week. Not only did we have cake we had bacon rolls and plenty of different desserts.
No lunch was needed today!
