Salisbury Crags
Yesterday was busy, and today was even busier. There is just too much going on at work, and I think it is going to continue like this until Christmas. It was nice to catch up with a few colleagues in person though. I did manage to escape from my desk at lunchtime for about twenty minutes. When I asked if it was cold outside, colleagues said I wouldn’t need my jacket, and probably not even my cardigan. I had only been out for about five minutes, when there were big spots of rain. Although they continued they didn’t really come to anything, so thankfully I didn’t get too wet.
While I should have been getting on with a piece of urgent work this afternoon, I was distracted chatting to a couple of colleagues. This meant I worked late to almost finish what I was doing, but I rushed off for my bus with a view to reviewing it later.
TT was cooking when I got in – a garden vegetable curry. I left him to it and went to sort out stuff for a couple of days away, while encouraging BB to do the same. We then ate and I got my laptop out, but I wanted to go out for a quick walk, so did that first. I came back and did some work, then finished my packing, then eventually got to bed far too late, as we have a very early start.
This is a view from the office, taken before I left this evening.
