Japanese anemones

Japanese Anemones appear to be  the flower of the moment on Blip, so here is my contribution to the gallery. The plants do seem to have grown extraordinarily tall this year. 
A busy day of preparing for our imminent  trip abroad. I visited my Mother this afternoon, who was having a quieter  day after going on a lovely  boat  trip in the Solent, followed by a pub lunch,  yesterday.  Their boat was the Alison MacGregor, which  was especially designed to accommodate people with  mobility difficulties.
