Pickle and beer

The cucumbers in the greenhouse are at peak productivity.

I took 4 of them to slice along with onions and carrots to make sweet pickle. The process I follow involves drying them out on a cloth. All very colourful. Now in the pickle in jars.

I also tried another of the beers left by my Belgian friends. This one was much darker and stronger at 9%. Very enjoyable.

My brother and sister in law arrived for the start of a few days of family gathering. Great to catch up in person and good that the Covid test line is now very faint. They are not concerned having had Covid recently!!
