Goodby Islay

Up early to get the car packed and leave to head over to Caol Ila Distillery for a tasting. We didn't have time for the tour unfortunately but we did have a nice tasting. Another bottle to the collection.

From there it was over to Bunnahabhain distillery. Again we couldn't manage the tour and tasting and get the ferry so we had a walk around and lunch while we waited for the next tour time. You can tell the difference in the Diageo distilleries. This one wasn't anywhere near as polished as some of the others.

After the tour it was a quick trip to catch the ferry back to the mainland and the long drive home.

Chippies for tea and we even managed to get the GP watched as well. Good job as it was an eventful race.
