A full house for the last day

A visit to Boomers Park in Vista was the main attraction today. Lots of attractions to be had; crazy golf, laser tagging, go karts, bumper boats, tea cups and lots of arcade games were on offer to be bought individually, 2 hour or 4 hour wristbands. Chris and Landon went for the 2 hour wristband and went on all of the above.

I had a go at the crazy golf, good fun except Maddy kept picking up the balls. She had her own putter and ball but insisted on using ours.

Towards the end she was tired meaning Chris was handicapped by carrying Maddy and her putter while playing. In an attempt to get Maddy to sleep I put her in the car while Chris continued with Landon.

We drove to Oceanside, still awake, on to Carlsbad, still awake back towards Boomers, still awake, along the 78, silence, back to Boomers, woke up after 5 minutes. We’d been driving for about an hour.

For lunch we went back Oceanside to the Heritage Barbeque and Beer bar for, you guessed it, a bbq and beer. Very good it was too.

Back home Landon opened his other gift from us: a set of magic tricks which we learned and played on Daddy.

Maddy is in the bath, Landon was almost tipped in with her but fought back, to little effect. He’s in there now.
