The Setup

A lazy Sunday, though I did wander round to the local café to see if they had any Zwetschgendatschi - they did! And lots of other goodies that had me humming & hawing for a bit (the extra shows my dilemma) before settling on cheesecake and cherry-cheesecake. The datschi and cheesecake other haven’t lasted out the day but amazingly that last slice is still in the fridge.
Talking of which, there wasn’t anything in the fridge that I fancied for our tea, it being too hot to cook and I’d forgotten to buy salad stuff. So we took ourselves off to Weilheim’s only Chinese restaurant which naturally has a nice outside terrace and some decent beer. Fried dumplings for S, fried duck for me, both excellent with a couple of Helles.
Home and the terrace beckoned so we obliged, staying out in the warm until pretty late. September already, how did that happen?
