Outside the always busy Cheryl's on 12th

Did a lot of walking today, over to the Pearl and back to pick something up, then over to the Alphabet District for something else.  Portland is always good for walking.  There was an event going on in the South Park Blocks but couldn't find any info, dancers and a gathering, I stood and watched for a while.  Commercial Workers Union kinda sorta not really protesting outside Fred Meyer on Burnside, couldn't really gather what the deal was.  Later when I was in T. Joe's, man in union t-shirt was in the store talking to the manager about having them join the demonstration, it wasn’t sounding promising for the union guy.  It’s Labor Day tomorrow.
