Cartmel Priory

It chucked it down this morning but subsided a little in time for us to go out for a meal at lunchtime. Hubby found a nice pub a few miles away called the Hare and Hounds in Levens. 
Mum and I shared a fish platter and hubby had a venison pie - both delicious. A good find which has gone on my list for future visits. 
After a couple of hours at home, it cleared up enough for us to get out for a little wander around nearby Cartmel. 
Todays blip is of the priory which was founded by Augustine monks in 1190, so quite old :)
