Tarn Hows

We had a lovely afternoon, starting at the Bluebird Cafe for lunch at Lake Coniston. Then we moved on to Tarn Hows which is a lovely little lake with lovely scenery around it. Walking around the tarn is only 1.8 miles, so a comfortable little stroll for us all and the blue sky made it all the more special. Just sitting on a bench overlooking the tarn was so calming and relaxing.
