Courgettes.

A dismal day. Mizzling and needed the lights on.
Usual Monday chores.
A late photo for blip. Just noticed we have a few courgettes nearly ready. They certainly grow quickly at this time of year.

Then a very pleasant visit from granddaughter, Hannah and boy friend.
Mainly to sort out some things for her brother’s wedding in just over three weeks time.
The year seems to have flown since we got the invitation to
“ Save the Day”.
Very pleased she approves of my hat and shoes. Also sorted out a handbag but it will only hold my phone. Will have to carry my camera separately.

We had a very enjoyable day yesterday, and although no sun it was warm enough to sit outside, providing you had a coat or jumper on.(see extra)
At one point we got a few spots of rain but that blew over.
It’s always good to meet up with older members of the walking group who don’t walk regularly any more, and many thanks to Chris once again (seen with her lovely labrador Polly) Hard to believe that in three years time she will be 90.
