Balcony Backdrop. Leitz Summitar 50mm

We were treated to this dramatic cloud and light show this afternoon from the balcony.  Starting in the fall, it is usual to have very dramatic clouds and light as the wind begins to blow from the north, bringing with it a cleansing blast of Canadian air. 
As I was doing the post-processing, I noticed the airplane included in the image.  When the wind is from the north, the planes take off into the wind and then, depending on their destination, sometimes swing right around to fly over our neighborhood as they gain height.
