i heard it before - i set eyes on it - actually there were several - so i grabbed my good camera - hoping i might be - able to capture an - inflight pose of one - even knowing the odds - were against me with - my eye disorder and all - when your eyes are in spasm - you just can’t see well - let alone focus so - i might see an object - but being able to - truly zero in on it - before it moves on - well it can be frustrating - most subjects are not - patient enough to wait - for me and in this case - a hummer isn’t going - to mosey around

however i thought since - there were a few - my odds increased slightly - therefore there was hope - and although this is - a pitiful shot - i am thrilled that i even - got it halfway in focus - as it zipped past - hovered a sheer moment - as it then went on - to my neighbors feeder - oh my, it has made it…
