The Free Man

This sculpture is down a little lane with no prior fanfare. I had to stop and take a look.

Turns out it is made from iron girders from a now demolished bridge over a local river. The bridge was designed by none other than Gustave Eiffel. I would have thought that more fuss would be made about it.

Apparently the design of the Free Man is from a traditional berber style. I rather like it.
