Bejewelled raindrops on a spider's web

I spotted these bejewelled raindrops this morning. They were balanced on a spider's web that was strung across some rosemary sprigs in my wee herb bed.

I planned my tasks today around two commitments. The first was a 7k run before lunch (with two records broken again), and the second a lecture on cryptography at the Bayes Centre this evening. Both were hard, although for quite different reasons. In the case of the latter, the speaker lost me 20 minutes into his presentation with the mention of polynomial time (me neither!) Mr hazelh, however, enjoyed the talk so much that he contributed to the Q&A at the end.

We caught up with last night's Only connect this evening. It's now past our bedtime, so we're saving University challenge for tomorrow. 

Exercise today: 1 hour on the exercise bike; 7k run; walking (22,375 steps).
