Seen Better Days

Even packed our cooler (the new one) before bed last night. All we had to do this morning was dress and breakfast. While hubby finished loading the car, I cleaned our bathroom. We were on the road by 8:20. Sugar tried really hard to ride home with us. She has been so faithful to me since my injury. We were advised there was a tree on an electric line hanging across the road we normally use going home. We took an alternate route. While we were at it, hubby decided to ride around a new town along our route with interesting architecture. We came across this unique landscape while there. We made a quick stop at a market to buy some local cheese and fresh produce. Our next stop was a tasty lunch in Frostburg. Hubby was exhausted so we stopped at two rest areas to give him a break. I was “semi conscious” during both. My sister called to make sure we were ok; I had taken quite a long nap and did not reply to her texts. We are in rush hour traffic at the moment. We have to stop to fill our gas tank and hope to be home by 7:00 pm. Of course my sister and BIL are already home. Great news: I was able to get an appointment with an orthopedic specialist for tomorrow at 10:00. The long pole in the tent is usually getting x-rays in our county. I would just like to get this knee fixed before our camping trip. Hubby booked this trip many months ago. He will be sorely disappointed if we cannot go. Wishing you a day free from disappointments. Stay safe. Thanks for your visit. “I've seen better days, but I've also seen worse. I don't have everything that I want, but I do have all I need. I woke up with some aches and pains, but I woke up. My life may not be perfect but I am BLESSED”. - Norma
