Sight for sore eyes
I worked all day. It was hot and sticky. Attended a case meeting in which I was the only person to present a case. Every one present was a bit flat. I call it back-to-school syndrome.
Afterwards, we wanted Fish and Chips, because it was GF Tuesday, which only comes round once a month. Our car is still in for repairs. I decided to walk down to town to get them. How glad I was! It was a beautiful late summer evening. While my order was being cooked, I sprinted down to the cinema to get tickets for S and I for tomorrow. We are going to see a thriller. More about that after the film...I spotted this sign in a dingy alley. I think it's new. The front of the shop faces on to George Street and is known for its innovative displays of eyewear and seasonal objets..
Finally tracked down the parcel I'd been expecting for days. It was in the side-passage, where Evri had dumped it. Inside was a free pulse oximeter (handy if we have another pandemic. GG was partly responsible for the demise of my last one). Also present was the main item, the foot massager. What can I say, apart from it's weird and produces a delightful sensation? I don't think I'll have further leg cramps if I use it daily. That is, if I can fit it under my desk. Otherwise I'll have to rearrange everything in my study. This type of reorganisation has been known to happen.
